Özum (which translates as "Sprouts") were a trio of young Tuvan overtone-singers who released one CD on the Window To Europe label in Each of the group members specialized in specific styles of overtone-singing and they accompanied themselves on various traditional Tuvan stringed instruments, Jew's harps and drums.

  3. This album features one musician from Tuva, two from Senegal, and two from Saint Petersburg. The musicians blend their styles and genres to form an interesting and attractive result; although similar experiments haven't always worked well in the past, in this case it does.
